A HIPAA-compliant, microservices architecture designed for the secure handling of sensitive health data, ensuring both high availability and strict data privacy.
A secure and accessible Next.js frontend providing a consistent experience on any device.
A set of Node.js and Python microservices for handling business logic, API requests, and user management.
Firebase for real-time data and user documents, with Genkit and custom ML models for analytics and image recognition.
All services are containerized with Docker and deployed on a secure Google Cloud Platform VPC, ensuring data isolation and compliance.
Managing health information for a family is often a chaotic mix of paper records, clinic portals, and memory. This makes it nearly impossible to track trends, manage chronic conditions, or get a holistic view of a family's well-being.
Inconsistent and error-prone manual logging of vital signs.
Inability to visualize long-term health trends or correlations.
Difficulty in securely storing and sharing medical documents with providers.
Lack of proactive alerts for potential health issues.
We consulted with healthcare professionals to design a platform that was both user-friendly for families and capable of providing medically relevant insights. Security and data privacy were paramount from day one.
We engineered a cloud-native PWA with a Next.js frontend for a seamless mobile experience. The backend consists of Node.js microservices for core functionality and Python services for AI-driven analytics, orchestrated with Kubernetes. A key innovation is the AI-powered vital signs capture, which uses Genkit to analyze an image of a medical device's screen and log the data automatically.
AI-powered vital signs capture from an image of a device screen.
AI-generated daily and weekly health summaries in natural language.
Secure, encrypted medical document storage with Firebase Cloud Storage.
Real-time dashboard with trend visualization for each family member.
Asynchronous processing for report generation and complex analytics.
